SpaceX on Monday canceled Starship’s eighth flight test merely seconds before liftoff. The company said that it is now ascertaining the next best date for the flight.
What Happened: “Starship team is determining the next best available opportunity to fly,” the company said in a post on X, formerly Twitter.
SpaceX CEO Elon Musk said in a post that the company scrapped the flight test because it experienced an issue with the vehicle.
“Too many question marks about this flight and then we were 20 bar low on ground spin start pressure. Best to destack, inspect both stages and try again in a day or two,” Musk said, raising hopes of the company attempting the flight before the end of the week.
